I guess it was a good movie. I mean yeah it was really confusing and stuff. But interesting. A good psychological thriller.

I used to love that movie.. I had watched it like 20 times in two weeks... well, not really but I think I had watched everyday for like a week. Now I'm kind of bored of it. I don't really get why I was so obsessed with it in the first place. But yes it is a good movie and I still would like to get the directors cut sometime (though personally I liked the original better... I just thought the box cover was cool on the DC and my DVD collection needs some new movies)

I did like the website they had up (and maybe they still do?)... it was fun to figure everything out and gain a little more info on what exactly happened.

If you like that you may try and catch "Stay" which I think I actually ended up likeing better (but maybe thats cause I didn't watch it 30 times). "United States of Leland" is similar in theme only but not "mind boggling" or weird or whatever... not nearly as good as Stay or DD but anyway, still decent.

The theatrical release is a lot better than the director's cut (which I have :().
K. Ayato: What happens if you press the small red button?

*Explosion goes off in the movie*

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

Hmmm, then I shall check out "Stay."

But MAN, I don't know why I love Donnie Darko so much... I mean, like... WOW! Its just... WOW! All I can say. I think I really like those kinds of movies a little too much. Like, the Butterfly Effect. Anyone seen it? Man, I loved it, but my parents wouldn't let me see it cos of the sex and stuff, but I still watched it secretly and AWW! I LOVE IT! But, Donnie Darko is... like, awesome. The whole tangent universe bit... took me a while to figure it out.

I'm downloading the soundtrack as we speak. Obsessive much? XD

tell me about it,

the songs so sad though. Its the kind of song you'd commit suicide to. I've been listening to it over and over, so...

Yea I listened to that a gagillion times too :P Kinda burnt out on that now too but anyway...

OH! That reminds me, I found this really cool techno version of the song some "no name wannabee future musicians" did and though I don't care for their other stuff, their butchering of Mad world rocked!! I wish I could find where to download the actual song cause I've only heard it while watching a FF:AC AMV...

Edit: Found it:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=6zPZmcpWgDE (Its not the original but if you like that electronic type stuff, you may like it) :P

(oh, the first 20 seconds is not the song and has some gay/lesbian anime kissing or something like that going on... just warning)
