Enter the Matrix

who thought this game was stupid? who thought Enter the Matrix(for PS2) was a sweet game? Though it had a lot of cussing in it I personally thought this game was pretty sweet.

I thought it was a good game, though I only got the play the first few levels of it at a friend's house. It was very good to see a game that actually respects a movie's intellectual property and doesn't just try to capitalize off of its popularity.

Also, it holds the title of the only game in which I enjoyed using guns. Typically, I don't like shooting games of any kind.

I thought it was pretty good... overall the game played pretty well.

The game is fairly linear for my tastes, but that's how most games are (I'm a Taffer at heart).

this game was unfortunately overhyped before released, and didn't meet the expectations of many 'gamers'. the same gamers that look for more thing to go on and on about, reviews games, and makes games look bad.

truth is, this game is good. i give it 8/10. just very unfortunate many people wanted more from this game than what was given after so much hype.

Enter the Matrix was awesome. I loved playing it, For PS2 and for Xbox. I heard people complaining that it was too easy but I didn't have any problems with that. I thought it was still a great game. The graphics were cool and I enjoyed the gameplay and different kinds of moves.

"What?"

In all honest, I thought that Enter The Matrix was, without a doubt, one of the best action/adventure games I've played in a while and the absolute best movie-based video game ever. People who didn't like it probably thought something stupid, like it was going to be the next Devil May Cry or something.

By the way, rule #1 of ANYTHING: Never, ever, EVER go by what the critics say. They always go for what's stupid and popular, and they all suck!!!

I didnt like it wen i first played it but I've grown to like it. Its pretty kool.
Heres the good points:
-Bullet time is fun, looks cool and lets you re-enact your own movie scenes (am i sad or what)
-There is two different characters to play as with different levels
-It actually links on to the 3 films (well i was impressed)
-Has lots of replay value (kickin badguys butts)
-Hidden features like the 1-on-1 vs mode

Heres the bad points
-Graphics weren't particulaly brilliant
-The moves all feel cliched after a while

Overall, pretty brilliant. At least an 8/10.

It did have some cool moves, some of which I used solely for the purpose of looking cool. Sure, I could just be effective, but how much fun is that?

From the small amount I have played it, I have one story: In the first level I was fighting security guards in the foyer, beside one of the columns. I tried to kick and turned on Focus, just for fun. Abruptly (outside of my control), my character turns around, runs a few steps up the column, then jumps off it and crescent kicks the guy. It was a bit bizarre, but also somewhat cool.

Ok... Enter the Matrix was one of the most top-selling games last year and to me, one of the most disappointing. Yet, it is Shiny Entertainment’s best Matrix game and their only Matrix game. Ok, I rented it for a week on my X-box. The slow-mo stuff is fun..., but hey, Max Payne? Be there… done that and had more fun. Anyways, Enter the Matrix is the fan's game; it fills in the gaps of the movies. In my opinion.... the story should have stopped at the end one the first Matrix movie. I know the developers had the idea in there mind that non-gamers would be playing it, also.. so, they simplified the controls. Now, the animation is great, but the game play behind it is sallow. And there's not much to the game, except beating people up...over and over again... and the driving and real world levels? ...... I'm not going to touch that. Yes, the glitches are copious in the game, but that's not all what kills the game as much as the monotony. The graphics aren’t very striking and are just so-so. Now, I did like the so called "hacking" part of the game...., but all it is…. is a cheat code menu! Come on! The cuts-scene are a nice addition and the game does have the Matrix feel, but it's a poor game and it lives right in the ranks of the most typical movie-based games.

I give it a moderate... 5.7/10

Actually, I agree about the last level shooting the sentenals, that was a bit poor, I still think the game was pretty good thou.
