import naruto game for gc

anyone play this at a con before? its the one that has about every character to be in the series from tenten to the white haired guy naruto beat up for the scroll in the very begining to itachi and neji

anyone know the full name of it and has anyone played it before?

Ah, you must be referring to Naruto: Ninja Gekitou Taisen 3. I've only played 1 and 2 but I love them to death. Four-player action with simple, intuitive controls and fluid animation - a great party game.

Gai's special attack really freaked me out. When I first saw it I actually hadn't gotten to the part of the series with Gai and Lee so when he started embracing his opponent I was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?! Now that I know what's up, though, I use it all the time. In addition to being a powerful attack, the psychological damage to the player often gives me the edge I need for victory. EXPLOSION OF YOUTH!!!

Well it'll probably come stateside right after Naruto comes here. And it'll probably suck unfortunately or maybe be mediocre... :eyeroll:

I own naruto gekitou ninja taisen 2 and 3 (as in... physically own the copies of the game... as in the disc and they are sitting in my room right now)

I saw this game at Animazement in the game room and it looked really fun. I didn't get to play it though. But it looked really kewl. Must buy if it ever comes out stateside.

im buying my youthpastors gamecube exclusively for this game. but does anyone know if playasia.com is a reputable place to buy the game from and where can i get a cheaper freeloader besides them

either works... if theres an import game store near you then you can get the freeloader for about 20 bucks, and the game for 60 methinks... almost 100 is what i paid for this game... and definately worth it

and i think you may need a separate memory card for this game... but im not too positive

From what I have heard from people who play Gamecube imports, you will need a seperate memory card for Japanese saves. The Gamecube formats the empty memory card as a Japanese one, so you can't have English and Japanese saves on the same card.

I'm pretty well rounded with every character, mainly

Naruto, Orochimaru, Anko, Jiraiya, Shino, Shikamaru, TenTen, Ino, Sasuke, Gaara, Temari, Hinata, Neji, Kakashi etc etc

However i totally bomb at being Chouji and Kiba... << worst characters ever

I still dont have Tsunade, Sandaime (The 3rd) or itachi

itachi cost a freaken 100,000 gold... :mutter:
