poem: Summer Storm's Sunset

Postby Mithrandir » Mon Sep 08, 2003 3:14 pm

summer sunlight slowly fades
behind these clouds – so soft arrayed!

simple silver – storm’s sunset
a beauty, wonder. silhouette.

twilight’s tears, tickling, trickling down.

far flung feather’s, phoenix’ fires
hear the pluck of heaven’s lyres!

tease with breeze among the trees,
this lulling pull of heaven’s ease

ah sanctus! thunderous, wondrous rain.
