Black Friday: Do you brave the crowds?

Talk about anything in here.

Looks at poll...

We. Are. The 90.9%! I'm happy to see so many people decided to avoid Black Friday, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

That would probably be a very good one time venue. Given that people would be frigid cold waiting in line, you could probably sell it with quite the mark-up. On top of it all, every one there is there to buy lotsa junk, so they're already loaded with cash. Unfortunately, you'd probably have to ask permission from the store first to see if you could go on the property, of course, I might be daring enough to just DO it and then leave and act ultra respectful if those inside asked me too. But to be honest, I think they have WAY too much on their hands getting ready for their annual consumergeddon to freak out about a person selling concessions to their customers. Of course, make sure it's only mildly warm, that way they don't scald one another as they inevitably try to rush for the doors and end up assuming they can use it as a weapon to get ahead of the person in front of them.

I actually had the silliness of waiting in line reenforced when I went out Saturday and found that most of the sales, including some of the 'doorbusters' were still active.

In my town, there were people standing in a line for Best Buy that wrapped around the store and went a little down the street at 7pm the day BEFORE. Yeah, me and my family laughed. Then we joked about how the poor sporting-goods store next door was completely vacant.

I guess people would rather sit in front of a big screen TV than play hockey. :( And the nation wonders why obesity is on the rise. Then again, you can burn a whole lot of calories standing out there in the cold waiting for that TV. XD

My mom attempted to get into the mall so she could look for a new purse at Hallmark. That didn't work. She ended up going to like two other Hallmark stores in different areas in a vain search for this purse, she was sadly disappointed in the end. Other then that we didn't do any Black Friday shopping. Way to crazy for me. We went and saw a movie instead.
