I'm Michelle, but my friends call me Mishi. i have loved anime so years upon years. I've also been a Christian for a long time. one of my main goals and hopes of joining this forum is to maybe make some new friends that share my obsession for anime and my love for Jesus.

a little about myself: I'm 18 currently and a senior in high school. i have a dog named Mandy and a cat named Biscotti. i stay up way later than i should most of the time, but i love to sleep. my favorite anime is full metal alchemist, but i will admit i watch way more shoujo then i should. i like reading manga more than watching anime, but i do love both. i am a huge Vic Mignogna fan (go Risembool Rangers! woot!) and I'm pretty open to most things. i'm from the Portland, OR area and i would really like to meet other people my age that live nearby. there is a huge lack of christian fellowship among otakus. i have a hard time fitting in with most of the christian teens i meet because i don't fit the usual mold. i wear lots of black and I'm pretty socially awkward around people i don't know. haha

anyway, i don't know if this will ever get read or if it will just sit here lost in the net, but either way, at least I'm attempting to be social. :thumb:

So what interests do you have outside anime/manga?
And what are some of your favorite shoujo titles?

We're glad you could join us! (any questions? Let us know, we'd be happy to help)

Also, if I'm ever coming off negatively, let me know, I tend to not realize others feelings until after the fact.
And this I pray, that your love would abound still, more and more with real knowledge and all discernment. Be prepared to preach the gospel at a moment's notice. Do you know the gospel well enough to do so yourself? Be ready.
