What are the upsides to using midori as a web browser?

Well, firstly it's much smaller than Firefox and uses less memory. Next, it runs really well on Linux and has good integration with its native appearance. Next, since it's webkit-based, it supports resizable elements, and user styles, which means I can create a custom CSS style to make the chat window resizeable! Yes! And since it's open-source, one of these days I'm going to go in and hack the tab focusing behavior to be the way I want it. And maybe port rikaichan.

Oh, and of course it's great having a web browser with the same name as me. That's just golden. Er, I mean green.

1. I haven't done broadway specifically, but there's a program I have near where I live called Theatreworks that I have season tickets to. There have been some productions I've really liked but it's hard to remember any of them...the most recent one I saw that was really good was a play rendition of To Kill a Mockingbird.
2. I have no memory for actors. I can only remember a few names, and I don't have very well-developed opinions on them. As for musicians, I don't feel like recapping all my previous answers to that. Sorry.

1. Oh yes. The best are the classic ones, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. There are some modern ones I've played that were all right, like Halo 2, Goldeneye Rogue Agent, Timesplitters Future Perfect...but they're all limited. They all have less replay value than GE and PD. One of the trends I really don't like in modern FPSs is regenerating health. It just doesn't make any sense (except in the Halo series), and it reduces the element of strategy. It makes it so that when you blazingly clear out a room, you're at no advantage over when you barely scrape past it with wounds. Not cool. I realize there are other people who feel differently about it, but it's my pet peeve.
2. There are actually a lot of games that require fast reflexes like that (Smash Bros. Melee for instance, and most FPSs and platformers). I guess the most fast-twitch games I've played were some of the Touhou series. Those are really hard.
3. You mean the ones where you build an amusement park or railroad network? No, unless you count SimCity, of which I have played the SNES version and SimCity2000 (great game). I also played a Wii version called SimCity Creators, but it was made by EA (meaning it was very underdeveloped and poorly-balanced).

The fact that when I enter the chat, twice as many people greet me as before. :P More seriously, what I actually like most is the sense of being able to be a useful member to the community, in a place where I get respect for my job, but I'm mostly anonymous so people can't compliment me directly (which makes me feel a little strange).

1. No. I think I'm going down south to visit family.
2. That's hard. Probably beef negimaki--an appetizer where green onions are wrapped in beef--yeah, it's pretty seriously awesome.
3. Sushi, unfortunately. :| Though I do like unagi a lot. It doesn't have that fishy flavor.

1. Yes. That'd be pretty awesome. I'd feel a little lonely being seperated from home but the interestingness of the job would definitely outweigh that.
2. Not really, though I have been to a few worship services that believed they were concerts. If you ever go to a concert, bring earplugs, okay?
3. Not really. I tend not to call people by their name anyway (I just say "you"). I do sometimes refer to anime characters with honorifics though.

1. I don't usually pay any attention to who translates the manga I'm reading. This is mostly because they always get exclusive rights so they're the only ones who can print it in the U.S. In my experience, however, most professional manga translators do a pretty good job. Better, at least, than most amateur translators. I don't usually get access to the original Japanese manga though, so I can't compare anything to the original.
2. Yes. I've occasionally watched anime without subtitles hoping I can figure it out, but my vocabulary just isn't big enough for that. However, I do often get information out of the spoken Japanese that is not in the subtitles. When it comes to anime, the translators are not consistent in their quality (though that may be the case with manga too, since I don't have the original). Furthermore, they also vary within the same localization company, as there's usually more than one set of translators for each company, so you can't really predict the quality of a translation by which company purchased the rights.
3. No, I was only in Tokyo and Odaiba when I was there, not in any rural areas where hot springs would be. I do want to visit one next time I go though.

2. No. The closest I've gotten (which is not very close) was Pendragon.
3. Yes, all of my old systems work. I'm quite pleased because there are several titles I'd otherwise have to purchase on the Wii that are quite fun to play every now and then.

1. Australia. They have the best animals and urban architecture.
2. Yes, I've had them since I was 2 months old. I am so far-sighted that the stars are not clear to me; in other words, my depth of field is infinitely far away. Not nearly as useful as it sounds.

1. Not specifically, but my favorite pokemon is Caterpie. DONT JUDGE ME!!

1. There are so many of these that I like that I can't decide. If I do make a decision, then a day later I'll remember one I like even more. Do you understand my predicament?

1. Sometimes, but not that often. I usually only notice it if it's a visual thing.
2. Officialy, mint chocolate chip. But I like a variety. Usually at ice cream shops I get one dark chocolate flavor and one light fruity flavor.

1. Same person as before, except it's a shot from the actual anime. The characters are never actually drawn SD or chibi in the anime.
2. When I was in fourth grade they tried to make me read Island of the Blue Dolphins (I didn't finish it). I've been extremely suspicious of school literature ever since.
