This reminds me of a game I play with the Korean students. The word that is used NEARLY UNIVERSALLY in Korea that's just... wrong (besides official Konglish like "Fighting" I mean) is "Why"

When a kid is misbehaving, I look at them intently. Then they'll say "Why?" and I'll say "Because you should be paying attention. Or I'll call a kid, and they'll answer "Why?" and I'll say "Why what?" I'll humor a lot of their Konglish because they're still learning, but this is one place I give no room. I do outright explain that the answer is either "what" or "Yes?" not "Why" but they still don't seem to understand.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

I like this blog alot.
[font="Tahoma"][SIZE="2"]"It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

This is a quote from another of her articles. I feel it is worth noting.

When enough anger and hatred has accumulated inside of you, it will rupture through your pathetic sense of integrity and start spewing outwardly as if you are some sort of rage sprinkler, spraying your putrid hate all over anything that comes near you.

Corrie, thank you for posting this! Just the laugh I needed today!

I'm bookmarking this blog and am going to come back and read more. This is amazing.

I printed out a copy and posted it on the bulletin board in the break room at the Writing Center for the tutors to see. :D
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Really? I nearly wet myself at the guy that ripped his shirt off after getting hit in the head with a blender. That guy was mean. I'd do that. I've done that. Well, not the shirt ripping part.

There should be a warning on this blog. It'll eat a huge amount of time as you gleefully read the archive for it, possibly causing social issues.

My favourite so far is where Allie is running a race (I think?) and she's thirsty and comes across a sprinkler and decides to drink from it. But the sprinkler churns out liquid fertiliser. This girl is crazy!
