Hey everyone, I've been having some seriously tough times lately following some very close (& very good) encounters with God I recently had... I really feel oppressed. I have a small list of things that I'd greatly appreciate any of you to pray for, if you choose one or all of them to pray for, thank you so much.
1. My class at school... I go to a Christian school, but a few people in my class have been unbelievably rude and hostile lately, especially toward myself and my friends. Their abuse has been so bad that I've been afraid to go to school, and while my parents and I have presented evidence to school authorities, this situation and my classmates are still in great need of prayer and I ask that you also pray for God to grant me and my friends strength.
2. I believe that God is leading me to guard my heart in some situations relating to guys my age (I'm a girl) and to reserve dating for a godly man according to His will. I've been getting a huuuge amount of flack from most of my friends and even my mom because I'm not open to "dating for the fun of it" at this time, so please pray that I listen to God's voice and discern His words through what the world is telling me.
3. I'm leaving this weekend for my senior trip, it's an entire week and I tend to get really homesick... especially because my birthday is during next week and I won't get to be with my family, so it's gonna be a bit tough. ): Please pray for traveling mercies and again for God to grant me His strength.
That'll have to be all for now, but I truly appreciate any prayer, no matter how long or short or elaborate or simple. Like I said, I've been going through some hard times lately (much more than I can mention here...) so I'm thankful for God's leading in my life and your requesting Him. Thank you. :3

I am terribly sorry you have had a rough time lately and I pray that God will give you the strength you need. Please don't be discouraged and also know that there is someone else who agrees with you on dating. I too think dating is far more than "just for fun". May God give you the grace and strength to continue seeking Him first.

To tell you the truth, I'm proud of you for beng so adamant about following God and waiting for Him to put a good man in your life, and I think it takes courage to go to the trip despite knowing that you get homesick.
