Good luck getting into your college! One of the best pieces of advice I can offer is when you write an essay, edit, edit, edit! Sleep on it, reread it, and then edit until you can't edit no more! And if there's anyone you highly trust at all that has mAD SkIllZ with grammar and punctuation and writing in general, then send them your essay to look over (that can be hard when it's something so personal to you, but when it's your own writing it's surprising what little mistakes you can overlook! A fresh set of eyes really helps).
