The Secret of Kells

Just happened to come across the trailer for this movie and IMO, as fan of 2D animation and whimsical stories, this seems to be quite a find. Thought maybe a couple here may find it interesting...

Here's a clip: Click Me!

Comes out march 6th I believe... probably in limited release though. I will definitely being checking it out though. Kind of reminds me of Zelda Wind Waker or something...

It reminded me of Samurai Jack. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture, but this year the competition is incredibly stiff.

Wow. I was going to say Samurai Jack, too. I had not seen anything about this movie. I'm going to be checking into it.

The Secret of Kells looks awesome. I remember reading about it a few months ago. I really hope it garners what it deserves. It looks simply wonderful. ^_^

Awesome!! I had heard of this, but hadn't looked up the trailer yet...it does look amazing! A lot like Thief and the Cobbler (love that movie).

I don't care for the character-design but the movie looks great all the same.

Gravedigging, aaahh!

Okay, so I'm aware that a few people on CAA have been interested in seeing this one, based on the reactions to the pictures in the "Most Beautiful Movies Ever" thread from a few weeks back. XD And guys this is so exciting. Not only is the movie officially out on DVD and Blu-Ray in the US now, but it is also available for your instant queue on Netflix! So, Netflix users who don't want to spend ohmygoodness so much money on a hardcopy, go watch it on Netflix for what might as well be free! Right now! Because you guys seriously it is so good. XD
