Greetings! I heard about CAA from two friends on here that I know in real life, TwilightKiss and Spirit Wolf.
Just to tell you a bit about myself, I love reading, video games, anime (of course! ^^) and listening to music. I'm a avid Evangelion fan (especially because I love post-apocalyptic themes), but I also love Angel Sanctuary, Gundam Wing, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Sailormoon. There's others too, but those are my main faves. I'm also a Final Fantasy enthusiast, my favourite being the 7th installment.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here - I've heard lotsa good things about this place! :angel:

Howdy and Welcome to CAA! *Presents EvilSporkofDoom with a bronzed baby's shoe mounted on a piece of pine wood* Here is a-- er, This is-- Actually I don't know what it is, but it's been lying around the floor of the general forum for a long time-- so I now present it to you.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. In order, my favourite games are FF7, FF6, FF9, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Xenogears, Resident Evil, and Kingdom Hearts.

But alas, we probaly don't know eachother, besides TwilightKiss and Spirit Wolf I never really talked to anyone else ... but oh wells. Big fan here too =) heh, I first got into Castlevania when I was six and played Simon's Quest on my NES ^_^; Which one is your favourite, by the way? (admittedly, I haven't played them all, just the NES ones, SOTN, and Harmony of Dissonance..)
