http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnQXvQ1R4gg The trailer!

I haven't read any reviews of it yet, but the story looks pretty hokey. I want to see it so bad. 'cause I haven't seen Reign of Fire yet.

Oh, and Mr. Smarty Pants, it's Korean. :thumb:

Anyone looking forward to this?

Hmm, I don't know. On the one hand, there are a lot of negative comments circulating about it. On the other hand, I did like Reign of Fire enough to buy it on DVD, so I suppose I am partial to dragons.

I doubt I'll see it in theaters, but I might rent it when it comes out on DVD.

Wait...

Nevermind.

I'll still love it though :D

Heh. I wasn't even impressed by the trailer, and it's a lot easier to make a quality one of those than an actual movie.

Also, apparently pilot school doesn't teach you not to fly right next to creatures on tall buildings.

This looks like it has potential to be awesomely lame. So lame, that it is in fact entertaining.

Some of the things, such as big lizards with rocket launcher backpacks, and a drake and helicopter colliding in mid air in an explosion of fire look like they will be improbable but entertaining things to see. xD

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. I just can't get over the fact that the CGI dragons look about as detailed as the monsters in a SciFi Channel original. I can't imagine what those things will look like splashed all over a big screen.

I saw the commercial for this last night. I dunno though. Somehow I'm reminded of how pumped up I was for Reign of Fire and how terrible that movie was, so now I'm cautious.

People actually liked Reign of Fire?

*blinks*

Wow, I'm really sorry if I offend anyone by saying this, but it was quite possibly one of the best examples of a modern film-that-needs-to-be-spoofed.

The story made no sense. Nuclear weapons can't destroy the dragons yet a guy with a crossbow can?

As for this film, no thanks. *goes to play Panzer Dragoon*

Japan the people eating island vs Gamera? XD

You know, I do love it how most of these films involve the creature being invincible to anything but the most unlikely weapon. I always, always found that to be the most hilarious cliche.

This film might be good, but might not hit the same impact as Transformers 2007 has.

I think the reason why it's all "lol Korean" because the director is Korean.

This film... doesn't look too good, lol. I may give it a chance though. It looks like it'll be a major flop.

i loved reign of fire- who cares if the story was hokey, it was a much better dragon-movie than eragon was (even IF the book is ok).

Dragons=auto win. its like transformers- no one went for the story, just the giant robots. except, replace 'giant robots' with dragons.

i want to see this bad, and, imo, the dragons dont look that bad at all. sure they could be better, but hey- they are still friggen huge dragons killing each other!
im a back.
