Final Fantasy VI Advance Blitz!

Postby Etoh*the*Greato » Sat May 05, 2007 11:13 am

Alright, what have they done to the blitz techniques? I wasn't very good at them before, but now I flat out can't do them. I'm stuck on the Vargas fight because I can't do the stupid Blitz techniqe. Can anyone help?

I think the blitz technuiqe you can pull off to defeat Vargas was.

Left arrow
Right arrow
Left arrow

I think you should try different times of pressing them. Like press blitz and then type in the blitz code *then press the enter button. If that don't work, then try seperate times to pull them off.

And btw, FF 6 is my fav FF game :D

Yeah... Actually after three days of frustration, I figured it out two seconds after posting. >.> I was misreading the symbol. They had the other three buttons highlighted and the one grayed. I should have known the grayed button was the one to press. Aye carumba.

Thought this was your simple home-grown Final Fantasy, didn't you? Where you just select your actions from a tidy drop-down menu. Well, you thought wrong.

But yeah, just press the arrow buttons in the order specified.

Just so you know, eventually you're going to have to spin the controls around. Note that you can take your time with it, don't go too fast.

I actually played the game back in the day, I just was under the impression they changed stuff around for the new one, and the instructions were more confusing than before. Then I tried Old Blitz, saw that it worked, and suddenly understood the directions. Yeah. Good times.
