Suppose I'll mosey on in...

Postby Rarothi » Tue Apr 10, 2007 2:45 am

Good morning starshine, the Earth says hello!

No... wait. UM ANYWAY. I'm Ro. Very nice to meet you all. I hail from the glorious land of livejournal, and am actually a friend of Ian's. (I'd be the one who bought him all the Trigun. Go go bookseller discount.)

Um... well... I ramble. A lot. If you haven't noticed.

As far as my anime tastes go, I'm really more of a manga girl, but I'll try anything once.

Not much else to say. HI GUYS.

"All of Christian life is ceaseless worship of God the Father, through the mediatorship of God the Son, by the indwelling power of God the Spirit, doing what God commands in Scripture, not doing what God forbids in Scripture, in culturally contextualized ways, for the furtherance of the Gospel, when both gathered for adoration, and scattered for action, in joyous response to God's glorious grace."
- Mark Driscoll

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."

It's a manga, namely Kubo Tite's original series (writer of Bleach), but was canned after only a few chapters. Seemed relatively interesting from what I read so far (which wasn't much =p ).

What Myoti said - it's a manga. And a short one at that. It pans out to be four volumes total, the first three of which have been released stateside.

I really love it. It's got a great oddball cast of characters, and I like what little of the story we get to see. I highly recommend it. ♥
