Motorstorm

If you are here to comment about 1. The store kiosk demo 2. The first downloadable demo or 3. The "E3 verses gameplay" video, don't... The comparison video was based on an early demo (the kiosk demo) and The game has undergone dramatic upgrades from then... If you dont' believe me, check out this online gameplay video that gametrailers made. http://download.gametrailers.com/gt_vault/t_motorstorm_multiplayer_onlinerace_gp_gt_h264.wmv

Considering this is the first game that really shows off the PS3 (well, maybe second if you count Resistance) and that this game is absolutely gorgeous (don't trust the store demo... that was incomplete and doesn't compare to the final version), I think that the 2 PS3 owners on CAA (and the 2 million worldwide) need to pick up this game...

I'm not a racing fan... Not at all... I do, however, like destruction car games... Blowing them up, denting them, ripping them apart... I especially love battle racing, like Mariokart. This isn't quite battle racing, but it's definately got destruction and chaos in the races... Not just the races, but the track is ripped apart, with muddy tracks left.

I'll be getting this eventually, for sure.

Burnout takes place on the streets. Motorstorm is mostly off road, from what I have seen.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

I would imagine playing on the streets would be more fun, as there are other things to damage. Plus you can create awesome traffic accidents.

Motorstorm takes place entirely offroad, using the desert environment to it's fullest...

Also, the types of vehicles... I haven't played burnout, so does it have motorcycles and trucks and such, too? There is a wide variety of vehicles on this game... And it looks much better than, well, any other racing game on the market.

EDIT: I meant to say offroad, not online... It isnt' an entirely online game, though online play is one of its biggest features...
