I found EARTHBOUND!

Have a video game or or VG review? This is the place to to discuss it! We also accept discussions of board games and the like, but SHHH! Don't tell anyone, OK?

I found EARTHBOUND!

Postby Destroyer2000 » Mon Oct 09, 2006 6:39 pm

I have looked for this game for so long. It was like 80 on Ebay. I found it at a game store called Rhino's, and nearly passed out. I did find it funny that the game was under glass and locked. But, I bought it. 50 dollars, but it's mine! Now if I could only find my SNES and my NES. On a side on note, I got Super Metroid and The Adventures of Link.

Yeah! Breaking international copyright law is so cool!

I didn't do that, though. I legally purchased my copy of Earthbound.

Same. Unfortunately, mine came used and all I have is the cartrige itself... *cries* I might start a new game of EB after I finish off Deus Ex. =D

Not exactly the kind of thing you want to be bragging about on a Christian site, my man.

Kudos to you, Destroyer2000! I never did get around to playing Mother 2 aka Earthbound. Maybe I should consider it, but I won't share how. :D

Yay for Earthbound (and the Mr. Saturn font! XD)! I was SO close to beating that game once...so, so close. But it got baleeted. I haven't played it since (though I really should...). XD

Congrats on finding a real live copy, though! That's awesome!

Ah, yes. I played this years ago on a friend's SNES, though I was never able to continue on one game long enough to get past the second of the "Step" bosses or so. Given how much of a classic the game is, perhaps I should make some manner of attempt to finish it.

It is best that we simply end this line of discussion.

Lol. Too bad my friend has my SNES, and accidently brang me his NES...which subsequently did not work and is lying disassembled on my table. Lol. THe AC adaptor was the only problem, but he insisted on taking it apart.

Now, I feel stupid. I found a copy of Earthbound at a 3rd party game store called GameCastle, and it was sold for 16 dollars. 16. After I payed 50. I bought it anyway, though...oh, Ebay...
