Japanese rock bands

I’m looking for clean lyrics, or at least mostly clean. The only bands I’ve found so far are Le’arc’en’ciel and Plastic tree. Are there other Jrock/Visual Kei bands out there with relatively clean lyrics?

the pillows.

One of their songs drops the f-word (in Japanese), but that's it.

I highly recommend Gackt. His lyrics are clean except for Vanilla. I'd suggest you listen to the albums Mars, Crescent, or Love Letter. It's all really good stuff.

Go!Go!7188 is one of my favorites and I suppose their lyrics are clean, at least what I've read.. I recommend. :D

Sadly, none of his other songs come close to Vanilla's greatness.

And it's not that it's unclean in terms of language. It's just pure lust.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Asian Kung-Fu Generation's lyrics, but then again, I haven't really checked.

I can think of lots of songs that are as good as or surpass Vanilla. Mind Forest, Mirror, Dears (LLV), Last Song, Tsuki no Uta, White Eyes are all fantastic songs.

Plastic Tree is another favorite band of mine, but their older songs have drug references in them. (Thankfully Ryutarou isn't into that crap anymore.)

I lessened to Ukifune by Go!Go!7188, I liked it. She used her voice well.
