As you can see, I'm a direct "import" from Gaia. =D

I was looking in the Somethingawful "Weekly web" when I found you guys.
Sure, there was some crazy posts, but I thought, "Why not?" and registered.

Here comes the tricky part.

I'm not really Christian.

*Silence*

I feel some explaining should follow.

Technically, I'm a methodist, which is essentially the same thing, but eh.
I've been baptised, confirmed. I'm not anti-christ, that's for sure.

Yeah, there's just not really a religion for what I believe in.

Anyanyanyanyway, I looked through your fourm rules, and I thought, "Hey, it doesn't say I have to be Christian, and it seems like a nice community, so heck, why not?"

Again with the "why not." XD

Just as a... I dunno, warning or something, don't try to convince me to become a super-christian or something.

That stopped working after I went though 8th grade science.

Oh and by the way, I'm not a Scientologist, or a Wiccan, or anything like that.

And yes, I do love my "return" key.

Hmmm...

Oh, wow. You've barley learned anything. I should be a teacher!

My name's Connor.

Er...

I'm 14, and I live in wisconsin.

Letseehere...

I like FMA, I just started getting into Naruto... Pretty big Inuyasha fan.'

Lets put it this way. Primarly, I'm a gamer. I love video games, particularly PC game. I'm actually bittorrenting GTA:SA right now. =D

I LOVE garrysmod. I made this today.

I love this one: Image

I'm not going to lie, when I say, I have a tendancy to curse a lot.
Of course, I'll keep it to an EXTREME minimum here.

I get angry every once in a while, sure, who doesn't.

Er...

I usually hang around gaiaonline with my friend Sarah.

My profile is right... here.

Oh, and please don't ban me.

That's about it.

Alo, new person. o.o/

We've got a good bit of rules here (including no swearing, sorry Xp ), but I'm sure you'll find something fun to do 'round these parts.

Oh, and just curious (as you mentioned Naruto), have you ever tried out One Piece (uncut)? Tis a very nice series. =D

I've been to Gaia before. Not so sure about that one... >.>

Welcome aboard, [GMOD]Vedicardi. Glad you joined. We don't force folks to be super Christians here, or we'd probably lose half the membership. Perhaps we can learn a thing or two from each other.

- Abraham Kuyper

"God the great Creator of all things doth uphold, direct, dispose, and govern all creatures, actions, and things, from the greatest even to the least, by His most wise and holy providence, according to His infallible foreknowledge and the free and immutable counsel of His own will, to the praise of the glory of His wisdom, power, justice, goodness, and mercy."
- Westminister Confession of Faith (Chapter 5, Section 1)

"The wisdom of God has found a way for the love of God to deliver sinners from the wrath of God all the while upholding the righteousness of God!!"
- John Piper

"Grace is the pleasure of God to magnify the worth of God by giving sinners the right and power to delight in God without obscuring the glory of God!"
-John Piper

"The very One from Whom we need to be saved, is the One Who has saved us."
- R.C. Sproul

"All of Christian life is ceaseless worship of God the Father, through the mediatorship of God the Son, by the indwelling power of God the Spirit, doing what God commands in Scripture, not doing what God forbids in Scripture, in culturally contextualized ways, for the furtherance of the Gospel, when both gathered for adoration, and scattered for action, in joyous response to God's glorious grace."
- Mark Driscoll

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."
- Martin Luther

"I have to tell you first that I am ready to die. I have put my affairs in order. Your supreme weapon is killing. My supreme weapon is dying, because when you kill me, people all over Romania will read my books and believe on the God that I preach - even more than they do now."
- Dr. Joseph Ton, the exiled Romanian pastor (quoted by James Montgomery Boice)

We don't ban people for "not being a Christian," but we WILL hold you to our standards while you are here. This site is a safe haven for Christians and we are fairly intollerant of troublemakers. If you do not wish to be exposed to Christian ideas, I would suggest you not hang around certain forums.

That said, we welcome all members who are willing to abide by our rules, Christian or not. You may wanna check out the FAQ though, to be sure you understand exactly what we do and don't allow.
