If anyone is interested in expanding their musical horizons, go to Pandora.com. It is a "musical genome project" where the site accumulates music and you create your own internet radio station based on your taste.

Basically, you input your favorite artists, they take common themes in their music and play music that you like, as well as new artists you might not know of, but fit alongside of your musical tastes. It is pretty incredible, and it's FREE.

Play around with it and see what you think...

I LOVE Pandora! <3 I've found quite a few bands on there I would've never have heard of, otherwise. Great way to learn about new music.

The only thing aobut it is the music is uncensored, though, so every now and then you'll get a song with some pretty objectionable lyrics. You can 'thumbs down' them and they'll never play again, though

Yeah - and if you don't always use your skips you can stop the offensive songs quickly - either that or turn the sound down for a minute.

Well, when you thumbs down it skips it anyway, without costing one of your skips.
...Also, I figured out a way to beat the system--if you change stations (if you have more than one), it skips the song. XD So, out of skips? Switch station, then switch back. ...Yes, it's taking advantage of the license, but it WORKS.

While we're at it, why not post our profiles on Pandora? Here's mine!
Note: Not *all* of the songs that I have bookmarked are completely clean, just to warn you guys. *most* are fine, but some have swearing/innuendo.

Alright - here's mine. I just started up recently, so it's not as developed as yours, but I'm liking the station really well.

I love the concept of this site. What a great idea.

Yeah, I, uh, went a little overboard with my stations and such, I think. XD (It starts to get pretty unwieldy when I'm making a station for EVERY character in an RP I'm in...)

I definately love the concept. Before I used Launchcast (from Yahoo!) for this sort of thing, but Pandora's more precise.

I'm still trying to get a few stations down. One of them I've specified quite a lot. The others are still pretty rough. But it is incredible how many songs and artists I've found through Pandora that I would have never found otherwise.
