I know there is a recent IGPX thread, but this is regarding to the ending.
For those who don't know, here are all the races and results covered in the series:

Those are the results for both seasons.
I loved the way they wrapped up this series, anyone else agree?

The whole Liz x Takeshi thing was predictable and unpredictable at the same time. To conclude, this was an amzing series pulled off by Production IG and Toonami and right now, I wanna see the microseries.

I thought Haley Joel Osment was the one who had the DUI.

I think ML hit the nail on the head there, unless Haley played both Liz and Takeshi:

I would have to disagree.I think Fontaine was the perfect match for Takashi.
On the other hand the Liz-Takashi thing might not have come out of Center Field the way a lot of people think.If you had been paying attention,especially during season 1 you would have noticed that there were several times that Liz ends up
spying on Fontaine and Takashi.
The only conclusion that one can come to is that she was jealous of Fontaine's relationship with Takashi from the get go.
Although it would be interesting to see what a season 3 would have been like with
Takashi and Liz a couple.
