I LUFF music!!!!! XDD I play the piano(have for about 5 years), a tiny bit of mountain dulcimer and hammer dulcimer, I can play a G chord and the James Bond Theme on the guitar, and I play the bowed Psaltery!!! If you don't know what the last one is, here's some info: http://www.earlymusic.i12.com/general/prod_10.htm

Also, C.S. Lewis IS a REALLY great author! I love the Chronicles of Narnia! XD I've read the first few pages of The Screwtape Letters, but it was a couple of years ago, so I didn't really get it. Another good author, even though he didn't write philosophy (at least not that I know of...) is J.R.R. Tolkien!! XD The Lord of the Rings are awesome books if you ever read them. XD (Another cool thing that I like about him is that he's Catholic like me! XD) So anyway, welcome to CAA! Glad to have you here! ^^//

*throws confetti*

Aaahh!!!

I...don't know how to respond to such a superior level of awesome-ness. The hammered dulcimer is one of the most beautiful instruments I have ever heard. *bows* It's an honor to meet you. And everyone else.

AND THE FABLED PSALTERY!!! You are the first human I have ever conversed with to have played such an epic masterwork.

Early musicians...we must stick together.

Wow, someone else whos into swordplay! =D

I do know kendo and a bit of Shoalin swordplay (although not currently active due to a certain lack of available groups, stupid England) and have also done some wushu staff.

I personally go more for exestential theology than philosophy but its nice to see another out-of-the-box thinker.

Welcome to CAA and we look forward to seeing you about.

Hmm, I find it interesting you have an interest in Christian Apologetics literature, and have not yet read a lot of C.S. Lewis's works. For those who do not regularly read philosophical/theological works in academia, C.S. Lewis represents as the modern Christian apologist. Besides "Mere Christianity," I would suggest "The Abolition of Man," and a collection of his essays called "God on the Dock."

Also, if you have not heard of him, Ravi Zacharias is a well-known Christian apologist who actively runs a ministry (see http://www.rzim.org/) and travels around the world giving lectures and sermons defending the faith. He is a gifted, sharp, and passionate speaker (he has podcasts of his lectures you can download), and he brings a lot perspective by referring and comparing all sorts of philosophies and religions. Considering your reading interests, his talks might give you some ideas for further reading.

That being said. Welcome, Mushishi. Enjoy your stay here.
