Clock Tower 3 (or 4 in Japan)

[quote="Psycho Ann"]Clock Tower.... was interested by the cover but after playing 5 mintues of it decided not to buy ^^]

This is a good thing, but you probably didn't even get to the "subordinate" or whatever it's called of the first level... This big guy with a hammer, a Brittish accent, and the most annoying forced gravely voice ever... The subordinates are all really stupid (literaly and in refference to the game). Supposedly, the violent ghosts (subordinates, or whatever they're called) are being held there by the fear from the ghosts of their victims, so you have to return important items to the ghosts to stop the subordinates, then you have to... Well, you have to send the subordinates to Hell (or purgatory? This game has a lot of Catholic stuff in it) by binding them with magic arrows... It takes about 10 seconds to charge each arrow, and while you're charging, you can't move or aim... She auto-aims at the beginning, but if the subordinate has any brains (and at least one of them does) they'll just move one step to the left or right and keep charging at you, killing you before you can fire the arrow.

Needless to say, that game is one of the most frustrating thing I've ever played... Oh, there's also Alyssa's "Freak out" mode, which takes next to nothing to set off... When she's in that mode, you can't control her very well... One positive thing is that she runs really fast in that mode, but then she stops and has like a hyperventilating thing, and that's usually when the subordinate catches you...

I got to the Clock Tower, and into that door I think that required the card key, but not past there. Anyone actually beaten this game?

Hmmm... I was thinking of trying this game... but the gameplay... sounds too wierd. Now I simply don't have any interest at all. Maybe that's a good thing.

True. But still, even if they AREN'T frustrating, you have to admit that games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill aren't exactly great stress relievers.
