i suppose you could say that. it's not as bad for manga since you can edit it out via paint. but for animes, it gets really annoying when someone who could have easily said, "What the heck?" goes to, "What the h*ll?", and sometimes even, "What the f*ck?". it totally screws up the anime.
I laugh whenever I see the F word in a One Piece scan.
