Baal's on tonight.Of all the Goua'ld they've had on he looks to be the coolest in style. In a way Baal reminds me a bit of Ares from Xena just the way he looks.

Hmmm, not sure how I feel about that: I saw the 1994 "Stargate" film in which Stargate sg-1 is based upon (which I assume is what you're speaking of) awhile back, and -- although I didn't particularly dislike the movie -- the average episode of sg-1 is made considerably better, in my opinion.

Tonight is the 200th episode and following it on Stargate Atlantis they do an episode that looks to be similiar to Star Trek:The Next Generation's Frame of Mind where Riker kept going back and force between what he thought was reality and
delusion, except this time it's Weir who espierences it.

Ok,I admit I had the most fun watching the Farscape parody.I just wonder who had the most fun doing that sequence,Christopher Judge,Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks or Ben Browder and Claudia Black?

The fact that they call it an 'obscure show'was hilarious! But it would have been more fun if they had Browder do Crichton instead of Shanks. :thumb:

btw:What did you think of the tribute to Gerry Anderson?

That was sooo funny! He looked very pathetic.
They had too much fun making jokes about themselves. I loved the Wizard of Oz one, but I think The Teol'c PI one was pretty funny, especially the reaction of the movie maker.

All in all, a very funny night last night.

That was Isaac Hayes doing a riff on the famous SHAFT theme. For those who didn't get that one,Shaft was a 1970s era movie about a black P.I.Isaac Hayes
sang the theme to the movie.
As far as it goes I've determined that what they spoofed were:
*Night of the Living Dead
*The Wizard of Oz
*Star Trek
*Farscape
*Shaft
*Gerry Anderson's Supermarionette series
*The Making of Stargate SG1's 200th episode
*The Invisible Man
*Star Wars:Return of the Jedi

Anything I left out?

The final episode according to Sci Fi Channel will be episode 215.There will be no
more SG1,at least on Sci Fi after this season. The decision was reached as they were prepping for the 200th celebratory episode,so it was kind of a damp blanket on the celebration.
This does not affect Stargate:Atlantis which will continue into it's 4th season.
On unrelated news Billie Piper is out as Rose having quit Doctor Who after the
second season and will be replaced during season 3.Also a proposed Rose spin off for DW has been canned by the BBC instead they will go forward with a Captain Jack spin off for now called Torchwood.

Maybe Spike Tv since they already have shown an interest in the whole Sci Fi/Horror genre with DS9,Next Generation and Blade might. But that would be a long shot.

Spike Tv already has: Seven Days,Star Trek:The Next Generation,Star Trek:Deep Space Nine and Blade. Also don't forget they'll be test running Afro Samurai this Fall.So in a way Spike Tv would make sense to pick up SG1 if any network did.
