By all reports, they are going back to the shorter, thrashier stuff they did on early CDs, which is kind of fine with me. Crimes was a rad CD, and they did it well, but if they go back to doing what they were already good at? Dang.

Yeah, for anyone that cares, they posted Set Fire to the Face on Fire and Laser Life on their myspace. I haven't listened to Set Fire to the Face on Fire yet but Laser Life is great.

But yeah, so, what did you think of the two songs? I'm trying to decide if I want to listen to Set Fire to the Face on Fire now or if I want to wait to be kicked in the face on October 10.

I only listened to a little of both... they're so DIFFERENT! They're kinda... funky. In a good way, though, which I would never have expected. I was expecting them to be more discordant like much of their previous works are, though the new music is melodic while, at the same time, maintaining that good old Blood Brothers 'feel' to it. I like it, to be honest. You can go ahead and wait another few months to get kicked in the face, but I think I'll go get kicked in the face again. So, if you'll excuse me...
