...is Cartoon Network playing Ed, Edd and Eddy waaaay too often? It seems every other time I turn there, they show this. This cartoon came out when I was in 4th grade....that was EIGHT years ago, and I can't believe this is still popular enough to take up a good slice of network time.

I agree.Every time you turn CN on it's either Ed,Edd and Eddie or else The Grim Adventures of Mandy & Billy. One would think that they ran out of shows to air.
Oh,and Camp Lazlo is another one that keeps getting aired perpetually now.

I find that they are putting a lot of sloppy animation on like that

The sloppy animation seems to be CN's "style". I've also noticed they've stopped showing Dexter's Laboratory. I think at least it's better than Ed and co. That Ed show is one of the most annoying ones. *sigh*

Me too. Oh man, I had the biggest crush on Ed (the smart one) in fourth grade. I used to get obsessed with random things very easily until I finally settled on anime.

I miss the jetsons, flinstones, and the other good shows. Like cow and chicken, dexter's lab, and some others I can't remember.

Kids Next Door annoys me >_>

Kids Next Door has some good eps. Get Boomerang for the oldschool toons

and... Ed, Edd, and Eddy is played way too often *nods*

I noticed that it comes on a lot as well. I don't really care for Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Kids Next Door is okay, but I think the Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends are my favorite original CN toons.

Cartoon Network is pretty lame these days. I agree that maybe old classic toons should have their own home on Boomerang but what about other shows like Dexter's Lab, Courage, and Johnny Bravo? Surely they could find a time slot for these somewhere, instead of friggin' Kids Next Door and Ed, Edd and Eddy (both of which I hate, by the way).

Or at least start putting them out on DVD! >O<

I used to enjoy EEnE, but now I find it graphically insulting and intellectually degrading. XD What a swing.

For the most part, I have given up on Cartoon Network. First of all, they got rid of Toonami. Yes, they do have Adult Swim, but I sleep then. Also, they got rid of Samurai Jack. That, IMO, was the only CN-produced show worth watching. Everything else was just silly. If I had my druthers [and I rarely do], they would drop most of their programming like the load of crud it is and put some anime on there. : : folds arms : : So there. ^_^

Why did they get rid of Samurai Jack, anyway? It seemed like it was pretty popular. The least they could do is how the old episodes. Maybe they ran out of ideas and did not want to end the series.

Johnny Bravo, anyone? I watched that show since they started CN. That and Space Ghosts Coast to Coast. I know it got a lil..."insulting" later on, but SGCTC had JUST the kind of comedy I like: random and pointless.......IAM ZIIMM!! ZIM IS MEE!!

Oh yeah, Space Ghost Coast to Coast. I used to stay up after my bedtime to watch that. My favorite episode was Batmantis.

But I feel the same way about Ed. I used to love that show, but now I can't stand it.

"Cartoon" Network, not "Anime" Network. :/

From what I understand, the head honchos at CN apparently decided their home-brewed shows would not exceed around 52 episodes, even shows with continuing plots, such as Samurai Jack.

Johnny Bravo, anyone?

Yes, that was another great show.

Pretty soon, Boomerang won't have those anymore.

Ratings were low in the 6-11 demographic.

Personally, I used to like Ed, Ed, and Eddy. I always liked the dumb one xD; But that was what? when I was eight or nine. Now it's just so... stupidic. They show it way too often. Along with The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy. Bleah, I hate that show so much. It needs to BURN!

What CN needs is Johnny Bravo. Johnny Bravo was cool, man. I always loved that show.

I don't know, I think we need an Anime Channel. That would be so freak'n awesome. But I doubt that'll ever happen. But who knows..

I think ADV's Anime Network you have to request to get and FUNimation's is only in certain areas like Los Angeles.Though I agree that an all anime network for basic would be a good idea.

Like mitsuki lover said, the only one I know of is somthing called Anime Indemand, in the Indemand service from Cox digital cable. But, thats only if you have the money. You need the premium service, plus the subscription to Indemand.

CN only cares about 12-17 when something airs on Toonami. While it did air on Toonami for a while, CN was still wanting high enough ratings in 6-11. They didn't get it, so they pulled the plug. Tartakovsky wanted to do a theatrical movie to put some closure on it, but CN said no after the PPG movie bombed.
