Consider it to be sonic, but 3d. But not REALLY 3d. More like, a 2d game with all 3d objects with a fairly linear path that you fly along (yes, fly. you fly. and it's awesome).

It's one of my favorite games of all time!

I've heard of it and played the demo in a Target a long time ago [I could even show you exactly where the machine was ~ my memory's weird like that]. It interests me ~ the "Nights" character is on my "to cosplay" list.

I hope they make a sequel. It looks like a fun game. They could just move it to another system like Sonic Adventure 2.

I've wanted to see what this is like for a long time.

And SEGA seems more interested in taunting the fans (through NiGHTS' cameos in other games) instead of actually giving them another game.

Wow, chibiphonebooth, nice gravedig.

Shao Feng Li, didn't you make an identical post when the thread first started? XD

Anyways, I second chibiphonebooth here. They should definately remake it for the wii or make a delayed sequel.

Well, not identical but yeah, the same point.

Well, Takuya, can this game compare to Sonic or is it too different to do anything yet? I mean considering the Sega Team, if this was a popular game they would have spawned countless sequels. Why didn't they?

What do you think a complete copy of NiGHTS should run? $25 US?

More like over $200 for the original copy in good condition. Nights is a rare game now. Hope Sega remakes it as a download for the Wii or for the PS3 or PS2.

I own a Sega Saturn, and NiGHTS.

I thought the game was really rad, and one day I found it at a flea-market for like $15. So I got it, and a while later an old friend gave me his used Saturn.

It's a really fun game. Hard, too. It's a lot like Sonic (being that it was made by Sonic Team).

200? Not quite that high. I did some checking - with the analog controller it runs about fifty, without it more like twenty.
