They havent made it into anime series yet,if u want to know of more what happen,play the game.

It is a great game!! I've played through the second one too so I'm waiting for my friend to let me borrow the third

Well they are all linked in a sense, but they all differ in story.

.Hack//Infection .Hack//Mutation .Hack//Outbreak and .Hack//Quarintine are the four game titles. .Hack//Liminality is the mini-anime series that comes with the game. It is goin on at the same time .Hack//Infection is, but the story is on whats happening in the real world.

.Hack//Sign is the tv series that most people have seen. It has no connection with the games or liminatlity...just different characters in the world at a different time and different story. Man....Hack is freakin sweet!!! Can't wait to play Outbreak!!!

Ok I think that about covers .Hack...sorry if I rambled too much. I just like to inform people of stuff that they don't know about (that is if you didnt already know...)

u cant really change the characters anyway cuz its an rpg.They have different names and different personalities but their appearance will still be the same,eg soccerer that look like Tsukasa

Yeah your right Tet-chan. The characters will "look" alike but their clothes will be a little different and they'll be a different person all together.

Yeah... (oops, almost spoiled .hack://sign) It seems to me about Kite, that there's one point he's DEFINATELY different from Tsukasa, other than being more proactive in solving the mystery (wheras Tsukasa kind of sits in it)

There was a girl in my appartment complex named Tsukasa. She left to return to Japan recentl, though. I just thought that was interesting. It's probably a common Japanese name.

BTW, is the name of the main character in Japanese Kaite (kah-ee-teh) or Kaito (ka-ee-toh) or is it Kite (key-teh) Because if it's the latter, I'm tired of people saying "Kite" (like one you'd fly) But if it is actually Kaite or Kaito, then why not spell it like that? Anyhow... I like the game but it's pretty buggy, and not all of it on purpose.

The whole series is very similar to an Idea I have had for a while, before I heard anything about it. I was going to make a game about a game, with problems happening... Mine wasn't about an online game, though, but rather an experiment that took iconic info from the game and used that as a basis for artificial intelligence, but a little more than that. Think: Tron. This program, though, had to "learn" how to work properly, so it screwed up a lot, messing with the game and making things not work right. Part of it's purpose was to take the iconic information about the character in the game, and make them come to life as it were... Turn them into artificially intelligent programs... In attempting that, it didn't quite understand the game, but it was partly sucessfull... Where it screwed up, things would go wrong in the game. Scenes would get mixed up, and only one character really became self-aware, and figured a way to get the game's creator, who knew nothing of this project, into the game to have it out with him for creating him to be a villain in the game... The whole virus thing, and sort of a reversed roll for the "real" characters is very similar to .hack, and I'm affraid of being called... Well, a hack... A .hack hack... Maybe I should just abandon this one... I've got plenty of other ideas. Maybe when this happens (and it's frequent, with me and my brother) that is just God telling me that's not the direction he has for me to go in...

It does have a connection...but...that's a MAJOR spoiler....

[spoiler] In .hack 3 or 4, you get Sora, Suburu, Tsukasa, Krim, and another person, I think...anyway, in .hack//SIGN, they're looking for the key of the Twilight. AURA is the key of the Twilight. .hack//INFECTION takes place right before .hack//SIGN, and the manga ".hack//Legend of the Twilight" takes place much later from what I understand. [/spoiler]

Anyone know what to do about those darn magical trolls and the bugs and flying fish thing that all poison you? How do you prevent poisoning? All those antidotes get expensive after a while, and you end up using more antidotes than you earn money to pay for... Any suggestions? I put on a jacket that was like +30 against poison, and it still never fails... The stupid trolls get me every time, and I don't see them until they're done, and they attack the second they come out of the portal... When I have a full team, it really gets annoying because I can't ignore it... They complain about it and cover up the battle, and distract me and they end up dying... GRR!!! Then, of course, resurrect is very expensive...

actaully there is a place in infection were if you go at certain times youll get alot a deja vu anyway start with infection(10 and go on up. by the time you get to outbreak(3) theres alot of sign related and a few in (mutation) and you flat out meet them in quarentine(4). but trust me the story is massssssssssssssssssiiiiiiivvvvvvvvveeee i played through all(well still working on quarentine) and i found someone(goes by helba infact)that told me alot. but geez the plots so huge on .hack
