A horrible movie

Postby The Last Bard » Fri Jun 02, 2006 1:39 pm

Okay, so I watched this movie when I was about in 4th grade, and thought it was the coolest movie since anything.
Watched today...AHHH! It is so pathetic! And now you probably want to know what it is, it's Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.

I mean, it's bad. You can see wires during the fight scenes because people never stop flying and flipping around. :dizzy:
And don't even get me started on that bald villain...He was so sad I wanted scream.
I understand it's low budget, but seriously, I could've done a better job than that. At one point someone falls on a HUGE bolder and the stupid thing bounces...That and the earth bounces later on in the movie. And check out the stunt doubles they got. Lol, they get these guys who are clearly not the real actors jumping around and doing flips.

Also, if you're going to direct movie a movie with a budget, at least know where the best camera shots are going to be.

And the finale fight at the end where Lou and the bald guy turned into dragons...? I was laughing.

I mean, how could they even call it a sequel to the Mortal Kombat that was released in 1995? :stressed:

The motto is, "Destroy All Expectations" They couldn't have said that better...

So have any of you guys seen this movie? Sorry if I offended anyone.

The truth is, Uwe Boll actually did the Mortal Kombat sequal. He also shot JFK.

I just looked up Uwe Boll. I didn't know what you were really talking about. Does he even have a fan?
Seriously, what does he do, play a game and decide to make a movie of it?

Okay, I would've never guessed in a million years someone would make a movie of Postal. Uwe Boll. :shake:

But what's sad, is he didn't even do Mortal Kombat and it's that bad...

He is the master of D movies.

MK: Annihilation is one of the lamest movies I've ever seen. It's so horrible I have no clue why Starz is running it so much.

Well, I thought that the first Mortal Kombat movie was okay. Not great, but it wasn't that bad too.

But yes, MK: Annihilation was very bad. It was so bad that I think it makes Street Fighter look like a 5 star movie!

Unfortunately he dosn't realize this and thinks he's an A list director... and the anyone who dosn't "get" his movies is too dumb to be worth considering.
