...It gnawed off three legs and was still stuck in the bear trap.

It's sort of a parody of a dumb-blonde joke, but it's a coyote, instead. XD Since many animals will chew their foot off when they're caught in a bear trap, this blonde coyote chewed off all the feet BUT the one that was trapped. XD
