I just watched Utawarerumono 1-3! I must say I enjoyed it. From the opener it looks like its gonna get really good. Hakuoro is so awesome! I like how the creators of the devaited from the norm with such things as
The dinosaur-creatures for transportation, and their ears and tails. AND THAT baby tiger with the sack tied around its neck was sooo cute! XD it's supertiger!
I agree with those who have already said that this is a unique anime! This one could be awesome!

I'm hopeful for the future of this one!

Genshinken!!! Funniest anime ever!
As vast as the world around you may seem, in actuality, it's a very small place.
The limits of your experiences, the sphere that's within your reach, Ultimately defines limits of your understanding.
The world as you know is not reality.
That is a world you have created yourself.

Utawaremono epi. 2 and 3.
Oooh, look. An over weight character with huge lips, riding in a litter carried by brutish soldiers. I wonder if HE'S evil. Serious, who wants to bet that he's some war lord coming in to take over the village and enslave the people.
I like this show, but I hope it starts to form an over arching story arc.

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya epi. 4
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Utawarerumono ep. 4
Said lord was killed this episode. I admit I thought he'd last longer, but was expecting him to get the "Prince Eglon" treatment, that is getting disemboweled. But Hakuoro just stabbed him in the neck. Yawn.

Tusukuru's death was quite emotional, but I wonder if the stuff Eruru made would heal her? If it would have, then she died because she wanted to be emo.

As for Benawi saving Oboro... I can only imagine....

Benawi: Don't throw your life away. I'm setting you free.
Oboro: B*st*rd! Why are you showing me pity??
Benawi: I don't want to win the "Best Bishounen of Uta" without a fair fight.
Oboro: Huh?
Benawi: Come on, if you died, my only competiton would be that father-figure with the weird mask superglued to his face. I want a challenge.
Ooo thanks^^ I'd be nice and seed stuff, but with my internet provider already telling me on the phone that I've used too much, I can't really anymore and tend to watch it^^

Noticed that there was over a thousand people leeching/seeding the one ep and I know very HIGH numbers like that can cause a problem^^ Luckily now, it's making a bit of progress...

Yeah I know I thought he's last a little longer than that :/ Seemed like a more important character... well, since his son (still trying to get familiar with their names^^) went a bit nutso and reminds me of Dilandau somewhat at the end of it, think it was supposed to happen... he seems more important than his daddy anyhow^^
I saw Excel ep.#5 on DVD #1:The Wierdness Has Begun,ep.#14 on DVD #4:
Doing Whatever It Takes and Noir ep.#1'Maidens With Black Hands'on DVD #1:Shades of Darkness.
The Noir DVD was really good,I especially liked the use of red throughout to symbolize blood.Especially when Kirika's sitting on the building scaffolding. Also
Mirelle's telling Kirika that she's going to have to kill her when they find out about
Kirika's past and Kirika's "I know."both matter-of-fact and calm in the voice over at the end as Mirelle posts on the computer their new buisness, was rather chilling.

Just watched the first half (not enough time to watch the 2nd half^^) of the 7th Poket Monsters movie... I gotta say so far, I think it's one of the better of the 7 movies, and you can REALLY tell how far along the animation has come in the series over the past 7 years^^

Out of curiosity, how much fanservice is in Genshiken? I love the premise, but I'm also aware that it might lend itself to some "interesting" situations.

There had been rumors that "a certain someone" would make an appearance in episode 19, but the screenshots of the website that said so were a fake.

But what if it was "fake but accurate?"

At any rate, I'm expecting a massive plot device for episode 18.

Noir blew my socks off when I saw the first episode on Sunday night. It was one of those anime,Silent Mobius and Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 as well as Inuyasha and Neon Genesis Evangelion and RahXephon are other examples, that really got to me from the first second.Having seen both La Femme Nikita and Alias I have to say if Noir had been a live action series it would beat both of them handily. As it was even as an anime series it was twice as good as the two combined. What I especially liked were the symbolic use of red throughout for blood and the casual way that Kirika and Mirielle discuss what will happen if and when Kirika gets her memory back.

Rewatched the RahXephon movie last night, which I didn't notice till after watching a second time around AND after watchign the TV series, just how different it is, despite many familiar scenes, 3/4ths of the dialogue itself had been changed as well.

Also watched Black Cat ep 5 today.

EDIT: watched .hack//Roots ep 4 just now.
