I love that song. I've heard it on the radio and had it weirdly cause me to think of Rem and Vash in our "Dark Mirror" fanfiction universe. :wow!:

Okay, so I'm strange. But, I just looked at an oekaki a friend of mind did by my request of her as the Evil Dictator of Care Bears.

Yes, I need to get the Trigun manga... I'm just waiting until I feel more financially secure. It's not a limited release, is it? You see, when I go to amazon.com to purchase manga, I like to get more than one title at once, and I know I will spend a lot because I want to get the final two volumes of the Adolf series, too... because I really want to finish reading that - it's a WWII historical fiction by the great Osamu Tezuka... So, it's like, I'd be buying my manga in bulk here. There's also the chance that my online boyfriend might buy me that first volume of Trigun as a Christmas gift...

~Sigh~ I think the second volume of the Haibane Renmei anime is out, too, or will soon be out, and that's also a must-have but expensive for me item right now. ~Sorrowful sigh~

But, yeah... Petshop of Horrors is good, but not for the squeamish. It's creepy. You've gotta be like me - someone who likes a certain degree of creepy to like it. I am a longtime X-Files fan, so, yeah, I like it. I got the manga because I liked the 4 episode anime OVA (Also worth getting!) Any anime with man-eathing rabbits = cool... I was thinking last night - wondering if the author ever watched the movie "Gremlins'.... probably... it's got a similar base concept.

Trigun Manga is fairly clean but their is a lot of mild, and some casual with the angel like creatures. Personaly violence doesnt bother me ive read akira though

I finally got Trigun #1 and I think it is great! It does not exactly follow the show, but it is just as good..... I can't wait to get the rest of them. There is nothing bad in them that I can recall, and they are sooo funny! I definitley reccommend them to any Trigun fan!

As soon as I get money (I'm saving just about everything extra for A-kon ><) I'm buying Trigun manga #2!! YAY! I wanted to get it the day it came out, but, yeah I didn't...I'm also going to get the first Fruits Basket manga when it comes out in Feb (I think the 13 or 15 or something). Lala! I like my new Avatar, and that has nothing to do with Trigun so yeah...^^

Thankfully no, Haibane Shadsie, the 4th Vol. of Haibane Renmei comes out in Febuary, as far as I understand. I am trying not to be jealous of you owning the third vol., because I have the first two, and I haven't found the third for any less than $28.99. At this point, I can't justify three episodes for like all the spending money I have. But I am yearning to see it quite accutely. I did get the Trigun manga two days ago (thus why I'm posting here - of course NOT talking about the right topic), and I probably won't be able to read it until summer, with my semester. But, if the second is out, I haven't seen it yet. I'm sure it's going to be great though. That's it for the bunny trail on my part. Sorry, mods. *sheepish look*

*runs from mods* I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I just have to say this! Its totally off topic but I have to say it!! Please don't be angry....I won't do it agian...

I Love Haibane Renmei!!!!!! We just watched it at my Anime Club's last anime marathon. One of our members randomly bought it 'cause it looked good and after watching it, several of our other members went out and bought all the DVDs that were out and he's going to loan them to me. ^^

Um...*slowly raises fist into air* Go Trigun?...*slinks away*.....

I got the second volume of manga today. I went into Barnes and Noble to the manga section wanting to get the third volume of Petshop of Horrors (which I did),b ut.. second Trigun manga was there... just screaming at me to buy it... so I did.

My concience is telling me not to spend money now for a long time. Seriously, I'm poor. My main reason for going into the store today was to check up on a job application and post-interview follow up to show them my eagerness for working... I need a job so bad... that's why I was out and about today.. job applying. Blech.

But... yeah! Yay! I gots manga to read... and yes! Go Haibane Renmei! It's so... sad and beautiful! The friend who first told me about it told me that it was an anime tailor made for me.. and she was right! So me... angels, mystery, young people trying to find their place in the world... characters that share a lot of my deep psychological issues... ah... yes. All that deep stuff... and feathery wings! Whee!

So there is a second volume that is released... either it was just released or the stores here don't carry it. Hmmm, it is Trigun, and maybe it's just really popluar. I'm not jealous... really...

Don't be. I SHOULDN'T spend my money right now. I just had a lapse of brain-finance function. Oh well, enjoy life while I can, right? And if I starve to death... so be it! (Though I should be getting my food stamps in soon enough).

At that Barnes and Noble... I've been wanting so badly this anthology of Matrix comics. It costs way too much... so I've been taking advantage of their chairs and not minding people thumbing through books policy and reading a couple of comics from it every time I am there... without buying the book. If I'm lucky and it stays in stock, I might get to read the whole book without buying it.

IMO, the Trigun manga is better. It explains things better and Vash is not quite as stupid as he is in the anime.

I agree, but that's being kind of a grave-digger. This thing is around a year old. ^^;;;
Think happy thoughts.
