What's on your Playlist?

Postby the_lizardqueen » Tue Apr 25, 2006 9:16 pm

I saw this on several blogs and I thought it might be an interesting way to learn what's lurking in the playlists of fellow CAAers. Basically, just fire up your music library and post the first 10 songs that come up when it's playing on 'shuffle'. Here's mine:

The Rock Reel/The Morning Dew/Reeling on the Box - Liz Caroll
Another Postcard (Chimps) - Barenaked Ladies
Oh Atlanta - Alison Krauss & Union Station
Find Your Way Back - Michelle Branch
Zero% Interest (Live) - Jason Mraz
Where the Streets Have No Name - U2
1stp Klosr - Linkin Park
Wisdom Bus - Emm Gryner
Hate To Say I Told You So - The Hives
My Number - Tegan & Sarah

..I can't believe that out of 600 songs the Chimapanzee postcard song came up

I have really ecclectic tastes as can be seen by list list. But actually, even this list doesn't quite show just how ecclectic my tastes are. I have a question. With a thread like this, can you post again at a different time since it can be a very different outcome every time you do it? Or is this just a one-time thing?

Come to the table - Michael Card
Fashoinably Lonely - Viva voce
I Can Walk - Acappella
Fall to Pieces - Avril Lavigne
Looking Seaward - Tim Janis
Breakfast - Newboys
Shelter Me Mercury - Project 86
That's What Faith Must Be - Michael Card
Simply - Pillar

Nah, I think it's even sadder when you do these things without somewhere to post 'em. Like I did before remembering the CAA ^^]Based on a True Story - Ricky Atkinson & Compassion[/quote]
For some reason I read that as 'Rowan' Atkinson at first O_o

I think posting again is fine, just as long as it isn't multiple spamming posts in a row. I was planning on doing another shuffle.

Ah, I was starting to wonder just how much Switchfoot you had ^^

And yay for fellow Jason Mraz listeners!

Um, I think you may be confused about the purpose of this thread, because it shouldn't be hard. You're supposed to put your playlist on random and then just list the first ten that happen to appear. Your list looks handpicked.

Ooh, I've seen a really good dance to Forgiving Eyes. Then again, any dance by Ballet Magnificat! is a good dance. Oh, and while I'm here I might as well put up another list.

Any Dream Will Do - Andrew Lloyd Webber (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat)
some anime theme song whose title I don't remember that MSP gave me
Jealous Kind - Jars of Clay
Sadie Hawkins Dance - Relient K
To the Skies - Everyday Sunday
Song for All Time - Joy Electric
Hurt - Thousand Foot Krutch
Red D-Lish - Viva Voce
Oh Draw Me Lord - Selah
Ulysse - Cirque du Soliel

Wow, this is an even more ecclectic mix than last time. It has a little bit from almost every genre I like.

"Metamorphosis 1" from Castlevania Symphony of the Night
"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen
"The Great North Cave" from FFVII
"Carnival Overture," Op. 92, by Dvorak
"Gau" from FFVI
"Macho Battle" from Sousei no Aquarion
"Largo" from some Vivaldi concerto
"Aya's Theme" from Weiss Kreuz
"J-E-N-O-V-A (FFVII AC Version)"
"Haze" by Royal

I can't believe that out of all my music, the one Queen song that I have came up. I listen to much more Christian music than this list seems to indicate, but otherwise it's fairly representative (anime, classical, game music).
Let others believe in the God who brings men to trial and judges them. I shall cling to the God who resurrects the dead.
