I think the Presidents song is the funniest thing I've ever seen, followed in a close second by the "mac equals suck" video. Seriously though, I loved watching this as a kid.

Animaniacs was good, but I preffered Darkwing Duck. Definetly a keeper.

Dude, this was like SNL for kids (phrase taken from mechana2015). My favorite skits were reading the dictionary all the way through, and the potty emergency.

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

I'm going to have to take back that quote of mine. I grew up with Darkwing Duck back in the day and caught several episodes of Animaniacs, so I didn't have much of a taste. I bought the complete series of Animaniacs and received it in the mail yesterday. As I haven't seen many of the episodes, it was a bit of a blind purchase but I'm really enjoying it! Most of the jokes would go over kids' heads. The series takes me back. It holds up much better than Darkwing Duck (besides the ultra-cool theme song, that one really didn't seem to age well).

For the record, I don't really have a problem with someone bringing back an old thread if there's:

a) useful discussion already there, and
b) something pertinent contributed.

I think this qualifies. So now I'll throw my $0.02 in here. YAY! I have the first two seasons on DVD and have lol'd many an hour away.

The 90s rocked.

Talespin, Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Batman, Spiderman, Tick, Bobby's World, etc. A lot of rememorable cartoons. :D

Although I don't remember Tick and Bobby's World I'd give the rest of your roster a THUMBS UP :thumb:
