For Tyler

I trusted you with all my heart,
Now your lies tear me apart.
I loved a love pure and true,
Hurting myself to do whats best for you,
You never gave me what I wanted,
A friend for when I hurted.
I've spent so much emotion and so much time,
Only to discover your kindness was pantomime.
Never thankful for my sweat,
As I cried trying to forget.
Now I see it was all in vain,
You were the root of all my pain.
Here you stand without your mask,
Finished with your demonic task.
I thought of you as a friend,
But you only brought about my end.

For an old friend who i recently discovered was using me.

"i dun wanna be, i dun wanna be me,
i dun wanna be, me anymore. (chorus)

they were throwing at his home,
two glass houses
twenty stones,
fourteen yellow,
six all blue,
could it be worse?
quite doubtful.

(chorus)

two steps forward,
three steps back,
without warning heart attack,
he fell asleep in the snow,
never woke up,
died alone.

(chorus)

please don't dress in black
when you're at his wake
don't go there to mourn
but to celebrate (x2)

(chorus-till end)" -Type O Negative

I haven't gone around to saying anything about your poems. I love them, the rhythm is awsome. Better than anything I could do myself. This one in particular is filled with emotion. Keep it up.

This one is filled with so much emotion. I just love this one. I'm sorry for the hurt you went through to get to this point; but, you certainly make the best of it by writing the way you do. :) You, Icarus and convoybutterfly are such great young poets. It makes me look forward to the future of poetry.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Yeah we need another turn poets that is, for the last few decades it has been a majour scientific-era-thing. If we keep going the way we are everything will be chrome plated by the year 2020! Ew.

As long as they don't do away with fantasy, I can live with chrome.

Murphy, good job as always.
