Ruby the Newbie ¤ My first post

Postby RubyJewelStone » Sat Mar 11, 2006 9:59 am

Hello everyone, as you probably guessed, I'm new.

I'm RubyJewelStone, but who really wants to type all of that out? So call me Ruby or Jewel.

A little about me:
As infered by my name, my favorite color is red.
I obviously like anime since I joined here.
I'm a 15 year old high school sophomore in a small Christian private school. I've been a Christian since middle school.
I like to travel and I want to visit Japan one day.
I went to Costa Rica on a church youth missions trip to help build a small church and a house for the pastor to live in.
I like to read.
I like to draw.

I'll stop there. I don't want to bore you all any more.

Hey, welcome to CAA, Ruby! I went to a Christian private school for 4 years...

Anyway, enjoy your stay here. Your avatar is uber cute!

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

@Radical Dreamer: My favorite anime at the moment is Naruto.
I've always liked Yu Yu Hakusho, FullMetal Alchemist, and Cowboy Bebop.
My only access to anime is Cartoon Network, though.

@Ssjjvash: Thanks for the compliment. I like yours too. Vash the Stampede rawks!

^^ thank you.

Yeah, Cartoon Network is my main source. many times, though, my two brothers will purchase anime DVDs, so at least I'm not stuck with only that channel.

What do you like to read? I'm a heavy reader as long as it's fiction.

Awesome! Bebop is one of my very favorites, too! Also, I love FullMetal Alchemist! It's getting so good, and it's almost over, too! Also, I suggest that you start looking into some manga, if you haven't already. It's SO much cheaper than anime, and it's a great way to see if you'll like certain anime!

@Ssjjvash: I prefer fiction too. I like to get away from reality too much...^_^; I'm not good at choosing books so I'm at the mercy of word of mouth.

@Radical Dreamer: I really should get some manga. My only manga exposure so far is a confiscated book from the class that I teacher's aided in and the downloaded naruto scans. Now to find some money...-_-'

Both bring this to mind, I should get a job at a bookstore when I start working.

Do you like random humor?

If so, then buy BoBoBo Bo BoBoBo.
The manga that is available in the US is sidesplitting.

Blood makes that show more funny.
