Anime weapons, whats the best

Postby DragonSlayer » Thu Jan 01, 2004 11:03 am

There are tons of powerful and altogether unreal weapons that appear in anime shows, although I dont see them that often there still there. So everyone whats the most powerful weapon? You can include anime videogames to.
Dont ever doubt God. He can help when thing even are impossible for a Human to work out.God can help us with everything, no matter how long it takes, how much it may seem he's not doing, never doubt God.

for me, it's the Progressive Knife. in fact, i was developing one until my funding was ceased (oh yeah, hand built rare-earth magnet solenoid system with freq higher than 20KHz). i blame my computer for being an upgrade-hungry beast.

and even if that knife didn't work well, it'd still be the best breadknife in the world.

Hmmm... an interesting question, one I might have to think about for some time (if, that is, I spent lots of time thinking about optimal weapons). Here's my answer, which really fails to answer the original question:

the body. It is required to utilize any weapon, or, as DBZ has shown us, can be a weapon in itself. Even in real life, your body is one of the most dangerous weapons you can possess.

Yeah, they do.

Realistically, it's your mind. In anime, it's whatever looks the coolest.

Having said that, I would choose Majin Buu's human extinction attack as the most powerful weapon. The body is probably the most powerful weapon, because unlike most weapons, it can build as well as destroy, and change radically to meet new situations.

cbwing0 brings up another good point about the body: it is incredibly adaptable. Now we could also argue that the mind is a part of the body, making it quite a fearsome weapon.

One more incredibly powerful weapon that I forgot to mention: the Dark Gundam! (from G Gundam)

In addition to being a powerful weapon in its own right, the Dark Gundam has the ability to "self-replicate," making a nigh-unlimited number of large, dangerous robots. It can also infect other gundams/pilots (and probably most other machinery, since it takes over the Neo Japan space colony), adding to it's numbers without draning any of its power. Then there is the amazing self-repair ability, which the Dark Gundam can use to repair almost any damage, no matter how severe. Its tremendous size is also a powerful weapon, since it can just crush anything foolish enough to be under it.

Finally, the Dark Gundam has the ability to "self-evolve," meaning that after each battle, it can change itself in order to become more powerful.
