Anyone know of Sushi TV?

It's a little one-hour (I think) program that runs in the top half of the TV Guide channel. I'm not sure of the schedule, but it was just on today (Tuesday) at around 2:30. At any rate, it's this hilarious summary of various Japanese oddities.

Kind of scary you can make an entire show about that.

I've seen only bits and pieces of it, but it seems interesting. I don't watch that much tv though, so I don't even know when it's usually on.

Did you see the one where they showed the race between a number of Transvestites and Transsexuals.It gave a new meaning to the term Drag Race.
Japanese tv,outside of Anime,with the exception of The Iron Chef,tends to be weird if you take what they show on Sushi Tv as being average.Then again some of that stuff makes what they do on MXC look sane!

Not all Japanese tv is that way. Look at all the drama shows out there. Still, you've gotta love the wierd stuff.

Yes,but on Sushi Tv they only show the weird and wacky tv in Japan.I saw a bit of it today and they had a farmer who grew one huge turnip.

MXC is more of a game show where they have people in two teams try to do some really weird stunts.The American dub is weird.
Sushi Tv simply highlights the weird on Japanese tv.On the same program I saw the last time they had a chick who could crush cans and cookies with her shoulder blades.
