HAs anyone else here played the Golden Sun games yet? I got both of them and they are soooo awesome! The 2nd is just as good if better! I hope they have more because the characters and the story is really well done. Jenna is awesome! ^_^

I played the first, and really enjoyed it. Beat it awhile ago. Really a neat game, but never played the second. My favorite char. is easily Ivan. He's awesome.

I can't say I've played them; but if Nintendo developed them, they probably are as good as you say. ^_^

They were both pretty good. They had some nice special effects for the GBA.

I love them! I played the first one and finally beat it, but I lost my copy shortly before buying the second one! :sniffle: I like Ivan and Sheba best, I think, but I like Garet too. He's so stupid he's funny! And I think it's hilarious how everyone picks on poor Piers!

Great games.... kinda brings back the old days of the SNES with graphics that are awesome for a GBA game. Yet, I haven't bought the second one yet.

I enjoyed the first very much, though I never was able to get my hands on the second (this reflects me, not availability). Excellant special effects, and I found myself becoming fond of some characters (eg Ivan).

The dialogue was endless, though. And certain animations got very old, very quickly (not in the battles- they were great, but the rest of the t ime).

They are undoubtably good games. I played through the first one several times but I never bought the second one. I need to get a job... or maybe a life  .

I'm not entirely sure about this, someone else can correct me if necessary. The first is merely titled "Golden Sun" and the second is "Golden Sun: The Lost Age." I'd reccommend them.

UC is right about the titles . . . and for Lost Age, you can transfer your data from Golden Sun 1 onto it. So you can continue your file/story and all. Sooo cool! ^_^

Don't know if anyone else besides me noticed this but they did leave open the possiblity of a sequal to the Lost Age.

I would give you 5 to one they did, but I'm not the gambling sort. As a young company, I'd bet they're very ready to keep a franchise going it if continues to be successful. Speaking of which, I have no idea if Lost Age was successful or not. It'd be interesting to see a third.

does any one know of a store in the katy or west houstian area that sells the first golden sun still? I prefer new but, I'll take a used copy if that's all I can get. I've played the second one recently, but I think it would be more fun if I played them in order.

from what i've palyed of the Lost Age, the game seems to be really good.
