Hope you caught the State of the Union Address last night. Big success for the President. I listened to it live during the show on my earpiece. Then, later, I watched it on TiVo, and then I downloaded it to my iPod and listened to it this morning while I read it in the paper. Take that, people who only heard the speech two or three different ways!

I'm sorry, but I've yet to see the purpose of this thread....

I loved him on The Daily Show and love him even more now that he has his own show.
I wonder if anyone else from TDS can get their own spin-off.

*snickers* Great picture.

Except for Keith Olbermann.

But otherwise, yes. I agree.

I like 'The Word.' It's my favorite thing on the show next to Tip of the Hat and Wag of the Finger (I think that's what it's called).

You're not. He takes parody/satire to a whole new level.

That, and his work on Strangers With Candy with Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello was amazing.

That's one of my favorite, if not my favorite, show on Comedy Central. We all need a little "truthiness" in our lives, don't we?
Simple arithmetic:
FF7 + World War II games = overrated
freedom + things we're lucky to have = taken for granted
manga + anime = a very happy person
Salvation + Jesus' Sacrifice = Eternal Life
a village - its idiot = a lot of smart people
(more to come)

Words of wisdom:
"Who's more foolish: the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi

"Sometimes Justice is a (insert item here)!" - Kato Kaelin

"You wouldn't lie to a judge with a baseball bat, would you?" - Extreme Akim

"For as low as you go, ask God to take you that high." - Tyler Perry

"I had the right to remain silent...I just didn't have the ability." - Ron White

"Your trademark is stupidity!" - Mr. T

"Your eyes can deceive you, don't trust them." - Obi Wan Kenobi

"If you can't be good, be good at it." - my uncle
(more to come)

Shout-outs:
SaintKevin, Yahshua, and Lunis, you guys rock!; Pillar, Kutless, 12 Stones, Skillet, and Falling Up for rocking hard, and Jesus Christ for being my Rock!

This is the only television program I always try to view. He's consistantly funny and horrible. I love some of the subtler jokes (such as how he introduces guests) as well as "the fightin' 8th!"

However, I must point out that discussion of this thread should not turn political, which would be easy given the subject matter.

This man is brilliant. He is just as good as Jon, less sexy! He represents everything that us crazy, tree hugging, president hating liberals stand for..only...more sarcastic *stares at her uncle Greg*

...I take it back...he represents my Uncle Greg 20 years ago
