THANK YOU!!!!! I'll use this in the future UC-maybe it will help me some. I've always been *terrible* at writing fight scenes, yet the fandoms I write for or want to write for (Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and now Gundam Wing) are all shounen, and hence fight scenes are often inevitable. . .despite my efforts to avoid them by writing post-series fics. :)

UC, seriously, you've made me a better writer. :)

Speaking of your work, do you have an account on fanfiction.net/fictionpress.net? I'm really interested in your work. Do you have other fics on these boards?

I have numerous parts of The Fall here in the writing section... all of them can be found through the Archives, if they're no longer on the boards.

Yes, I do have accounts on both fanfiction.net and fictionpress.net. Linkage:
http://www.fanfiction.net/~uncreativepseudonym
http://www.fictionpress.com/~uncreativepseudonym

I'd warn you, most of my writing on fictionpress is just older versions of The Fall. I do have some worthwhile things there, but not too many. What I have on fanfiction.net is much more worthwhile.

But enough about me. On topic again.

Perhaps because it really is a Tutorial. That's a decent idea, but I hadn't given it much consideration myself.

Consider your petition granted.

Volt... your post would be quite humorous if it wasn't so scarily true. In retrospect, I wish I would have posted an example of a bad fight scene.

Thanks, Mave. I'd be happy to answer any questions, or even cover any specific situations.

No, you're considerably better than that (especially your newer work). Volt wasn't targeting you, in case you think he was. But I've read so much literature exactly like it (and I don't read that much fanfiction...).

Okay, I know I'm gravedigging, but I checked this topic at random, so bear with me. I think it just stinks when a writer assumes his/her audience knows what a certain move looks like. Assume they don't, and describe it. It never hurts.

Hmm. This is definetly a useful tutorial. I believe that I have used quite a few of those styles, though I'm not quite certain whether I did them well or not.

I believe I come with some fairly unique ideas, but I can never get them to come correctly. I'd be appreciative if someone more "expierenced" would read view some of my own stories and tell me what and how I can approve on them ("Solar Cycle", in the Writing section).

I'm afraid it would be highly difficult for me to get a response to you at the moment, but such might be possible given enough time. At the moment things are hectic at my end, but when they settle down I think I would enjoy giving you feedback on how you write fighting.

I understand, and I wasn't meaning you specifically. I would simply appreciate it if anyone with more education and skill in writing would be able to help me.
