Library Funding

I have a 4 page essay on library funding due in a few days and I have absolutly nothing on it.
I searched wikipedia but got nothing, the .gov sites arent much help since they have only statistics of useless stuff.

are you looking for where they get their funding? How it is decided? or something else?
4 pages seems like a lot for this subject...

all I know is that it's expensive. My High School has spent lots of time getting money, and so far all they have is the building and a few books.
