Martial arts, video games, and anime watching...if those are winter sports, then I'm a winter sport fanatic! 
You forgot to include snowball fighting and sledding. Those are the best winter sports that involve winter weather.

( I got nailed in the head with a 1' x 6" x 8" chunk of ice last snow ball fight I was in

Can't believe I forgot that...especially extreme sledding like I used to do. Must be all the headfirst crashes while skiing
Friend (currently attending Cornell as a App. Physics Major): "Look a cliff!"
Me: "Can we sled down that?"
Friend: "If you miss the rocks and the dropoff in the middle, and dont go into the street at the bottom."
Me: "You first!"
(Watches as said friend bails 10 feet into the run, loses sled, and sits there watching as it hits the rocks and the house saving it from impending doom on the road below)
Me: Nevermind.

As I said it took until I hit a hundred posts before I did this. Back on the winter thing...I fell on (Ice last week and one of my friends broke their arm snowboarding...so its definately winter here.
I dont know the last time it snowed in Mississippi, but I have a friend going to an arts college in Jackson!
PS Vegitating is fun- but I cant seeing that I'm addicted to playing roller coaster tycoon.

next week I go back to pomona so the weather 'll be better there...and I wont have to worry about the mudslides anymore. 1/2 main road up to my house (HWY 18) was washed out over X-mas...fortunately I wasnt here when that happened. Woohoo.
