Forum Database Error?

Postby Myoti » Thu Dec 29, 2005 9:55 am

Urggh! This is driving me nuts.

On one of the forums I'm on, everytime I try to log in, log out, or check the forums themselves, it throws me onto this big "Database Error" screen, even though logging in shows up as though I actually am.

The DE screen gives me a link for "Technical Support", but all it actually does is bring up Outlook with no e-mail address. Lotta good that does me.

The wierd thing about this is, I know of several others who have been able to get on without any problems, so why can't I?

I've tried to come up with another registration, but I just get another Database Error for some reason.

I would email/PM their technical support person. If I were in their shoes, I would REALLY be interested to hear about db errors.

Like I said, I tried, but the tech had no e-mail. I'm still trying to find another e-mail to do so...

You may wanna look for any address on the site that works and send the email to them. Tell them:

"Hey, you guys got a serious problem with your database! Here's what's going on: problem_goes_here. You better forward this to your server admin pronto."

I found a contact spot. I'll just have to wait and see if they actually DO anything about it...
