Um, hey. I'm new, so I'll do a bio.

If you're new to CAA, we invite you to tell us about yourself here. This is the place to post your own bio or read up on other members. Be as in depth as you like!

Um, I'm Kesshin, and I'm new, so I'll do a bio to better introduce myself. I'm a vegitarian. (I hope everyone's okay with that), and my favorite manga is Naruto, though Yu Yu Hakusho has been catching up lately.... My favorite Bible passage is 1 Corinthians: 13, you know, "Love is patient, love is kind...." and one of my hobbies is writing. I write novels, to be precise. I'll get one of them finished one of these days ;)

Is it just me but is the number of writers coming onto CAA steadily increasing?

I am a beginning writer and would be happy to welcome you to the writing forum. If you wish to read my story on CAA, it is "Meledriel" even though I am on a little hiatus until I get the plot fully aligned and such. You should also read Iesu's "Here Be Dragons".

I do hope to read your works.

Nice to meet you! Just out of curiosity, are you Seventh-Day Adventist? I only ask that since I went to an SDA medical school, and of course, the SDAs are primarily vegetarian.

Nope.

Postby Kesshin » Mon Dec 15, 2003 4:31 pm

No, I'm not a Seventh Day Adventist, I'm just a Christian without any set church. (Although technically I was baptized Catholic) I believe it's not a very good thing for the church to be divided like it is, but hey, I'm not one to judge. So, I just live by the Bible and by my conscience. :) Currently the church I attend is Disciples of Christ. And I became a vegetarian one day when I bit into some pot roast and red juice dripped out.(Just in case you were curious)

Hi Kesshin! Welcome to the boards. ^_^ I hope to see you in the writing area.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Thanks. I have posted the first part of my new writing in the Writing forum. It's a story called On the Dark Side of the Moon. Tell me if you have any writings, I'd love to read them.
"Consider the lilies of the field. They neither sew nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed as one of these. If God so clothes the grass, which is in the field one day and cast into the oven the next, how much more will he clothe you, o ye of little faith?
-Luke 12:27-28

"Mostly I write action/adventure, and while I dislike romance, I seem to end up doing it and I've been told I do so well. To that I give a cliche "Feh.""

Awesome...well your name is kesshin for real? I know, my name Quiet Hood isn't real. Finally nice to meet you, Kesshin. Write more about urself. I am curious! My second sister, she's kinda of vegitarian. I think it was my fault because one time I was making a joke about the hot dogs. That hot dogs was made from cow's intestines. She puke the foods out of her mouth and never touch that meal for rest of her life. Welcome!
