I liked Season 1 the best! Season 2 was good too. Season 3 was not as good, though. However, my favorite Digimon related media was the MOVIE!!!! That was a seriously awesome movie. The animation was great, and the story was good too.

The season where they used cards to power up their digimon was the third season entitled Digimon Tamers.
The season where they used spirits to transform into digimon themselves was the fourth and last season entitled Digimon Frontier.
I also agree that the first two seasons were probably the best.I haven't really watched that much of the newer seasons of Digimon so I'm gonna say the 2nd season was my favorite and Ken is my favorite Digimon character of all time. lol ^_^
Ken was one of my favorite characters in Digimon 02 as well. The voice actor who voiced him did a really good job and managed to do both the evil Digimon Emperer and the good Ken as a chosen child voices very well.

I agree with Blue Elf, Ken rocks the house. Haha season 2 or 1 I'd say. Most likely season 2, best of both worlds.
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.

Ken was my absolute favorite character.
As for the series, season one and two were pretty good. Three and four? Kinda mediocre compared to the first two. Anyways, did you ever wonder why 3 and 4 seem to have nothing to do with 1 and 2?
It's because seasons 1 and 2 were derived from the manga, whereas the last two seasons weren't. (Well, just some useless trivia.)

However, Sarah, digimon is one of those shows that if you don't watch it alot you're usaully not a crazied fan. 
I've only seen like 10 episodes of season 4, but I've seen every episode of the first 3, so I can't say I like the 4th season as much.
