I watched a few episodes. i think IGPX has a much better look.

This show is ok but it is overall to kiddish and corny for me and while the action maybe ok it seems to be an american version of Naruto. I think the two are very similar, but I enjoy Naruto much more.

I think Avatar has a much better animation style than Naruto... Naruto just looks really low end =__=; Naruto is good in manga form, but the long monologues during battle are just too long for me in the anime. I can read them much faster XD

Anyhow, as I was saying, I really like Avatar's animation style. I especially liked Katara's fight last week. It was really nice. The only time the animation can bug me is sometimes (especially w/ the water bending) there's this blatantly 3d animation patch of water that Katara or Aang pick up and whip around. They've gotten better with that though as the series goes on... its not a major problem, just a nitpicky thing.

I think Avatar is one of the best anime-esce American series out there. It has its witty moments, and even though it has the (somewhat) Japanese style animation, it has a distict American feel to it. I like it ^^

I must admit that this is among the very few animated series produced in U.S. that I've been impressed with in recent years. Hmm...actually, there's another series I kinda like (it has eh...dragons/dragon-like creatures and ppl who wear armor).

The artstyle, character designs and storyplot of Avatar are interesting and pleasing to me....I also like the voices. I've been watching random episodes but overall, it has been an excellent viewing experience eventhough I don't have any particular fav. characters yet.
