I thought the nano machines were all destroyed.. or was there one last one hiding in his head or something..

my favourite scene in that movie has to be the fight with the broom (and the music just kicks rocks, YEH!)

I think it was metaphorical

i think its the last nano bot getting eaten up by the anti nanos...thats why it dissappears. On a psycological level it could be a representation of his feelings for Electra dissapearing too....

I haven't watch the Cowboy Bebop: the movie but I heard that they have nude scene in it...so I decided I can't buy it for my sister for her bday.

I did like the movie, but not as much as the series. I thought the content was a bit worse than in the series, considering the length, and I didn't think it was much more than a glorified bounty hunt that was a bit more in depth. The art was much more well done and it was good, but I still like the series better. It is nice to know that it didn't show all of Faye. I dove for the remote at that point.

I think that fight scene with Spike's antics throughout the entire film made it worth it for me.
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.

just saw the movie and i agree, very good. It did feel more americanized, i kept thinking that my husband (not an anime fan) might actually like this one! lol
And the nudity is really pretty-much non-existant...you see more at an anime convention with some of the cosplayers...

I just finnished watching it last night along with all the extras in it (excluding all movie trailers but two or three). It was an awesome movie! Well worth the wait in my opinion. The dub was off only on a few minor details and interjections. The voice acting in English and Japanese were excellent. I noticed that the orginal sub title for the movie really kept with the theme of Vincent: "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." There are tons of allusions to the t.v. series esp. with Spike. I also liked the inclusion of the milatary MONO carriers and fighters, something that was never shown in the t.v. series.

Well, I actually saw 1/4 of this movie by coincidence. See, I was at a history fair 2 years ago, and two kids had a mini-DVD player and they were watching Knockin on Heaven's door in jap. It was pretty cool, so when it was released in the states, I picked it up. I like it alot.
It was a shame to see Spike die in the series, and I liked seeing him back in action.
