Oi, everyone! How are you all doing? Anyway, I think it's about time I finally introduced myself. I've been a lurker for quite a few months reading and sorta getting to know the members of this board by what they've written. Anyway, I'd better start. My name is Nick and that's what it'll have to be for now until I'm more comfortable about disclosing my last name. My interest in anime started when I was young(er) with the show "Ronin Warriors" and Dragon Ball Z and it has now grown quite a bit. As of my christian life, I was raised a christian by my parents but I didn't want to be a person who just blindly accepted things that were taught to him so I sorta went through a small phase of biblical and self-searching and have now recommitted my life to Christ even though I've been saved since I was 6 and it's a day I'll never forget. Anyway, with me having a persona on the net for a long time, it surprises me that I didn't find this site sooner than I did. In fact, I found this site simply by doing a google search of "christian anime" and boy, was I glad when I found this site. I had no idea that a community such as this one even existed. I then read and lurked around for a while before I felt I was finally ready to break out and now I've become a proud member of the Christian Anime Alliance!(excuse me for the drama:sweat: )
I like gaming, I'm what you could call a hobbyist programmer and I also like soccer and computers are a big hobby(if you can call it that) of mine. This looks like a good warm community and I'm looking forward to some good times and being an active member. Well, that's it and sorry for the flood gush heh.
EDIT: I think I should've put this in the Welcome Area but oh well.
Oof! I forgot to say that I want to be a doctor when I grow up but I don't know what specialty yet. Perhaps
pediatrics like my mom(who helped inspire me to be a doctor which is something I've wanted to be since I was 4) I'd also like to have a side-job of programming when I'm older. I'm currently studying french and japanese(more of the former) and I'd like to learn Spanish and Haitian Creole(the language of my culture).
